Located at the OCT Loft, Heavens Books is a cafe and bookstore disguised as a live music venue, or a live music venue and cafe disguised as a bookstore (depending on how you look at it). Either way, Heavens offers plenty of both, with local acts performing regularly to enjoy with a good book or two. While most of the books are in Chinese, there are a few English paperbacks and a decent selection of vinyl LPs and CD's. 

The fourth entry in the growing McCawley's empire. Much like the other pubs, expect a distinctly Irish style and decor, good selection of draft beer, and pub grub.

The Village Bar & Grill offers a bit of everything for everyone. There's some Tex-Mex (Tuesday night is taco night where a taco will run you 16RMB), Pizza (Wednesday night is Pizza & Beer night where a pitcher of Tiger will run you 68RMB with the purchase of a pizza), and BBQ (Thursday night is BBQ night where all BBQ is 10% off).

There is also a decent selection of cocktails and draft beers.

The drink menu at Choppers Saloon proudly proclaims "Serious drinkers welcome", which pretty much tells you everything you need to know: at Choppers they take their boozing seriously. For the non-drinkers, there's a decent BBQ menu including grilled spare ribs, chicken, steaks, burgers, and an all-night breakfast menu. They also have a pool table, and sports on the TV.

Though the name and decor are inspired by Aussie origins, Gold Coast's menu is stacked with English favourites such as steak & kidney pie, minced beef and onion, and jacket potatoes served with baked beans. On the weekend, look for a full-on English Brekkie. As for beverages, this is where the Aussie origins ring true: plenty of Australian wines by the bottle, and, of course, VB beer. Happy hour daily 17:00-19:00, buy 1 drink get 1 free.

Frankie's is an American bar in the tradition of classic bartending: proper cocktails prepared by proper bartenders. Frankie's also promises an excellent selection of genuine, high-quality Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Honduran cigars. There are also plans to introduce live music.

While Le Bistro has become a popular French resto in Futian, it also has a bar located downstairs. The very laid-back bar offers a good selection of wines and cocktails, with occasional live music. Happy Hour daily from 17:30-20:00.

This outdoor, rooftop lounge offers high-end cocktails, snacks such as skewered meats, and fresh fruit. The pleasant view of Futian's skyline is juxtaposed by O! Garden's all-white decor and live DJs.

Located on the third floor of bar street in Seaworld, The Tavern Shekou does not have a food menu as yet; however, what it does have is free peanuts to wash down all you can drink pints of Tiger from Monday-Friday for 120RMB. You'll also find a dart board and a pool table. Buy two drinks get one free happy hour from 17:00-19:00, Monday-Friday.
 

Rapscallions is a restaurant, cafe & bar, with a rooftop terrace serving cocktails with a view of the Futian skyline. Rapscallions also has a good selection of microbrewed beers including Brewdog, Brooklyn lager, and Dead Guy Ale.

Located on the 5th floor of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Leaves Rooftop Garden Bar offers a fantastic view of the Futian skyline and an excellent selection of cocktails to accompany it. The open air setting also offers a good selection of tapas.

Formerly located in Luohu District, Brown Sugar Jar has moved to a larger space in Futian. The concept however remains the same: booze, coffee and live music. Owner A Niu brings in acts of all genres from all over China.

Spy Glass is a Russian bar with the variety of premium vodkas one might expect from a Russian bar, including the cedar nut infused Kedrovica vodka. Limited plush leather seating is available on the 2nd floor as is a healthly helping of punk rock on the stereo.

Located in Shekou, Seaworld, Navy Billiards Lounge has 10 professional 9-ball tables and 4 standard snooker tables. They also offer VIP rooms for private functions, and live sports on big screen televisions.

Located at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Luohu, the Brew House micro-brewery offers three handcrafted beers: pilsner, wheat and dark ale. The Brew House also offers a number of bottled beers from around the world and small tapas to pair them with.

As the name not so subtly suggest, Gaga Club has all of the pomp and grandeur one has come to expect from the pop star of the same name. A healthy dose of Hip Hop and R&B meets high-end cocktails in this Futian hotspot. Open till late.
