Taboo, one of the original artists of the Black Eyed Peas, has been writing, producing, and performing since 1988, when he first began collaborating with Will. I. Am and Eazy E. Since the birth of the Black Eyed Peas in 1995, the group has produced numerous platinum albums, and international mainstream success. However, the Black Eyed Peas are currently on hiatus since 2011, thereby allowing Taboo to begin performing and expanding himself as an artist, singer, and a DJ performer.
